“Your soldier son gets all these things from your electric bill” are the words of this 1943 WW2 era original vintage advertisement by a group of 137 Electric Light and Power Companies. Shown in the drawing are a father and mother looking at things a WW2 soldier needed that was supplied by the 24 cents of every dollar as taxes to the electic companied. Please see the scan.
The ad is 10x13 and in black and white. It is in good to very good condition with nice detail. It has aging from being in a 75 year-old-magazine.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
