“The man who hated to wipe dishes,“ is the theme for this 1944 original vintage advertisement for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ad has nice art drawing of an electrical engineer and his wife, “Madge,“ as he is wiping dishes and thinking of his future. Certainly not politically correct in today’s world. But this is 1944! Please see the scan.
This ad is 10x13 and in light color. It is in good to very good condition with nice detail and art. There is an ink shadow at lower left edge.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
