This is a 1952 magazine drawing by Peter Stevens featuring a man and woman in a bedroom pose. Stevens is a collectible pulp artist of the 1940-1960s and beyond. His art has distinct and colorful images that are a pleasure to view. His art appeared on nearly every prominent magazine covers such as “Fantasy Magazine,” “Adventure,” “Argosy,” and others. Interesting, his father, Lawrence Stevens was also a pulp artist at the same time during some of his career. You can see a copy of his signature at the bottom left corner.
The magazine drawing is on an 8.5x11 page and in very good condition with nice, glossy color. PLEASE remember this drawing is taken from a vintage magazine and is NOT an original drawing.
