“Keep Your Head Down” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 era original advertisement for Camel Cigarettes. The ad features US Marines and Infiltration training. There is also a photo of a woman named Jean Curran who worked during WW2 with Sperry Gyroscope Company and smoked Camels. The “T-Zone” where cigarettes were judged is also in the ad.
The ad is 10x13 page and in color. It is in very good condition with nice detail. There is some edge aging. Please check out the scan.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
