“Food fights for Freedom,” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 era original vintage advertisement for Morton’s Salt. The “Morton Salt Girl,” with umbrella appears in the ad along with preservation appeals during the war effort.
A BONUS is a ad on the reverse side of the page for General Electric Radios, Televisions and Electronics. The ad features singing star Georgia Gibbs of the Jimmy Durante and Garry Moore program that ran on CBS.
Ads are 10x13 and in color. They are in good to very good condition with nice detail and color. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. It is being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
