“Douglas makes fine shoes for men, always has and always will,” is featured in this 1951 original vintage advertisement for Douglas Men’s Shoes by W.L. Douglas Shoe Company of Nashville, Tennessee. It was a subsidiary of General Shoe Corp. The ad features a rooster crowing and a black classic Douglas men’s shoe.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Morton’s Salt. It shows how potato products are improved with Morton Salt.
The ads are 10x14 and in very good condition. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics. They are both too nice for the buyer not to know about them.
