Free Enterprise” is the theme of this 1945 WW2 era Original Vintage Advertisement by Carnation Milk. The ad features a nice art drawing of a young Cub Scout Boy who is selling Lemonade and War Stamps. It is a very neat drawing and nostalgic. Also in the ad are some recipes for using Carnation Milk for “Jelly Roll Cream Torte,” and “Frosting Meringue.” Please see the scan.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page by Mobil Gas and Oil. The ad features a WW2 Combat Photo. Please see the scan.
Ads are on a 10x14 page and in color. They are in very good condition with nice detail and color. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
