“How would you answer the $64 question?” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 Original Vintage Advertisement for Eversharp Repeater Pencils. The ad features a couple of WW2 soldiers around a pretty girl. There is a small promo for the CBS Sunday night program, “Take It or Leave It,” with Phil Baker.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Lord Calvert Whiskey. It features a “A Men of Accomplishment,” in period dress by a piano with a glass of Lord Calvert “Custom” Blended Whiskey.
Ads are 10x14 and in color. The ads are in very good condition with nice color and detail. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
