1944 WW2 Air Defense South Pacific Drawing of US Battleship Wisconsin or Westinghouse Laundromat Original Vintage Advertisement
“Nerve systems for Battle Wagons” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 Military Salute by Western Electric. The ad features a wonderful WW2 drawing by Dwight Shepler, U.S. Navy Combat Artist called, “Air Defense-South Pacific.” It shows WW2 naval battleship Wisconsin in action and some important battle telephone stations and units in a typical WW2 battleship.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page by Westinghouse Laundromat with a wife and nice shirts for her husband and son.
Ads are 10x14 and in color. The ads are in very good condition with nice color and detail. There is some aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
