“The bargain at $793.95” is the theme of this 1946 original vintage advertisement for B.F. Goodrich Tires. It features a giant tire used for Dirt Movers and a bargain at that price then. This ad is 10x14.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side the same page for the National Life Insurance Company of Vermont. It is about making sure your child can go to college and features a drawing about Samuel Read Hall who used the first blackboard and later established the nations’ first school for training young teachers at Concord, Vermont in 1823. This ad is 5.5x14.
The ads are in very good condition with some aging. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
