Here is Hollywood beauty Jeanne Crain in a nice photo and feature about her struggling marriage with husband Paul Brinkman. The couple were at the doorway to divorce in the mid-1950s but later reconciled December 31, 1956. They would have 7 children and were married for 57 years until Brinkman’s death in 2003, althought they lives apart for many years. This was Crain’s only marriage and the feature made for nice “Gossip” but it turned out to be part of the struggles of a long Hollywood marriage for two actors.
The photo and story appear on an 8.5x10.5 page as shown in the scan. There is a small copy of her signature in the upper right corner of the photo. It is in very good condition with some aging, true to the period.
A very neat collectible of a “bygone” period on American life.
Vintage advertisements and pictures are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgic look and eye appeal. They are also suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continue to decrease.
