“For lines that live,” is the theme of this 1941 original vintage advertisement for Forstmann 100% Virgin Wool. The ad features a nice photo of a woman in neat vintage outfit.
A bonus is an old Life Magazine Cover from September 22, 1941 on the opposite side of the same page. Featured on the cover is Brazil’s top dancer.
The ad and cover are 10x14 and in good to very good condition with an edge tear and some wear. The Life cover has a pencil mark. The page is heavier than a normal magazine page as it was the cover. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and pictures are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgic look and eye appeal. They are also suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continue to decrease.
