“They’re high on our list of favorite dinner meats,” is the theme of this 1941 original vintage advertisement for Swift’s Premium Tender Frankfurters. Featured in the ad is Mrs. Elmer Layden, wife of the famous football coach. Layden was a fullback for Notre Dame and later coach, NFL player and Commissioner and eventually was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Please see the scan.
The ad is 5.5x14 and in very good condition. It will be sent uncut on the original page it appeared. The second scan shows the ad as it appears on the full page which allows the purchaser to use as they want.
