“Millions pay tribute but not one cent for repair,” is the theme of this 1946 original vintage advertisement for Zippo Windproof Lighters. Featured in the ad is a nice art drawing by Frank Beaven of persons waiting in line to get a Zippo Lighter during WW2 shortage. This ad is 5.5x13 and half a page and will be sent uncut on the original page it appeared.
A bonus is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Statler Hotels. Featured in this ad is a series of cartoons of a man enjoying his stay at a Statler Hotel. This ad is on a 10x13 page.
The ads are in in good to very good condition with some edge aging and wear.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
It is an original vintage product and not a reproduction.
Vintage advertisements and pictures are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgic look and eye appeal. They are also suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continue to decrease.
