“Sergeant’s Pocket Guide to India” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 era original vintage advertisement salute by the Pullman Railways and Trains. The ad features a neat vintage drawing of 3 WW2 soldiers in a jeep with a cow in the way as they were stationed at India and needed to abide by the customs of the Hindu nation.
The ad is 8x11 and in good condition but does have some page discoloration at the bottom right corner. Please see the scan.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
