“They’ve got what it takes” is the theme of this 1943 WW2 era original vintage advertisement salute for Camel Cigarettes. The ad features Dorothy Wallace, stenographer turned soldier on the production line of the Wright Aeronautical Corporation, working on the swing shift. She is shown at work and with a WWII soldier. The ad may be dated for today but is a part of our country’s history.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page by Kohler Plumbing Fixtures and Fittings. Shown is a neat drawing of a young boy with a sailboat in the bathtub.
The ads are 10x14 and in good to very good condition with nice detail and presentation. There is a small piece out of the bottom edge which has some tape on it. The ad is still very collectible and nostalgic. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
