“I had a dream in Africa last night” is the theme of this 1943 WWII era original vintage advertisement salute by the Stromberg-Carlson Company of Rochester, NY. The ad features some very neat art of a WW2 soldier about his girl and persons at home helping others. Stromberg-Carlson made radios, telephones, and sound systems at the time. This ad is a full 10x14 size page.
A BONUS is a cartoon and another ad on the opposite side of the same page Featured at the top of the 2 ads is a cartoon by Rube Goldberg about how to get more mileage with your car. Below that cartoon is an ad for Pennzoil Motor Oils. The two ads are 5x7 each and will be sent uncut on the original page they appeared.
The ads are in very good condition. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
