“It took a war to do it, but I’ve been convinced” is the theme of this 1943 WW2 era original vintage advertisement salute by the Sealright Co. The ad features a woman holding a container of Durkee’s Shortening which was in the paper container and not metal because of the shortage in WWII.
The ad is 10x14 and in very good condition with nice detail and presentation. Please see the scans.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
