“Hey Joe, wonder what we’re worth on the hoof,” is the theme of this 1942 original vintage WW2 era advertisement by 54 Electric Companies. It features a neat photo sequence of “Civilian Joe” and “GI Joe.”
The ad is 10x14 and in fair condition. PLEASE NOTE: It would be in very good condition but it has a small hole at the bottom right leg of “Civilian Joe,” and is reduced in price but too nice to discard. There is an upper left corner crease. Please see the scan.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
